The Sports Association for the Physically Disabled of Hong Kong, China is a multi-sport national sports association with the vision of Enabling Hong Kong Para Athletes to Achieve Sporting Excellence. We are now inviting candidates with strong passion in Para sports development to apply for the position.
 

Major Responsibilities

  • Plan, organise and coordinate various events, e.g. ceremonies, medal presentations, press events, fundraising events, sponsored events, etc.

  • Develop event materials, e.g. invitations, MC script, rundown, promotion materials, brochure, etc.

  • Coordinate with vendors on event design and production

  • Plan and execute both online and offline marketing campaigns to promote community outreach and school programmes

  • Draft and prepare communications collaterals & publications production, e.g. annual report, press release, e-newsletter, corporate leaflet, speech, social media posts, corporate video, etc.

  • Plan, develop and manage the content on social media pages and website

  • Provide administrative support for procurement services

  • Accountable to Senior Communication & Corporate Affairs Officer

  • Take up any other duties as assigned by the senior management
     

Requirement
 

  • Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSE): Attained Level 2 or above in five subjects, including Chinese Language and English Language; or

  • Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE): Attained Grade E or above in five subjects, including Chinese Language and English Language; or possess equivalent qualifications

  • Experience in event management and content development and production of communications collaterals is preferred

  • Experience in digital marketing and social media management is preferred

  • A minimum of 1 year’ working experience is required

  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua)

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills

  • Computer skills: proficient in Microsoft Office and Chinese word processing; photo and video editing skills would be a plus

  • Passion in sports is an advantage

  • Irregular working hours and occasional weekend duties may be required

Benefits

Salary will depend on qualifications and related work experience.  Annual leave, Mandatory Provident Fund, and medical insurance will be provided.
