Duties:
- Manage all activities of HKCSA’s office, including supervision and management of clerical staff;
- Maintain proper administration of HKCSA office;
- Attend meetings of the Executive Council of HKCSA and provide administrative support;
- Make preliminary recommendations and execute them as well as other policies effectively once approved by the Executive Council of HKCSA;
- Prepare and submit annual budgets and programme budgets and providing regular activity reports to the Executive Council of HKCSA;
- Liaise with LCSD, SF&OC, other organizations and National Softball bodies on matters relevant to development of the sport;
- Assist the Association to bid / host International Softball tournament;
- Oversee the operation of the Tin Kwong Road venue;
- Develop, review and implement HKCSA’s Two to Four-Year Development Plan;
- Develop additional and explore sources of funding for HKCSA including seeking sponsorships and grants from the commercial sector;
- Promote development of the sport discipline with sound media coverage;
- Apply necessary funding to support the development of the Association & Venue;
- Ensure timely reporting and conscientious compliance with terms of LCSD Subvention Agreement;
- Take charge of the accounting matters of HKCSA.
- Perform any ad hoc duties assigned by management.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- An accredited Associate Degree from a Hong Kong tertiary institution/a Higher Diploma from a polytechnic university or polytechnic in Hong Kong or Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education or equivalent;
- A minimum of 10 years working experience, preferably in sports-related field, at least 4 years in managerial role;
- Project & staff management working experience is required;
- Ability to show planning, organization and time management skills when carrying out various projects, such as local international events, annual plans and proposal writing and etc.;
- Experience in budgeting, cost control and resources allocation;
- Good attention to details, good organizational, planning, decision-making and problem-solving skills;
- Good leadership and people skill and able to maintain a good communication with all teams,
- Good knowledge of the operation of National Sports Association(NSA);
- Familiar on using Word, Excel, PowerPoint;
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese;
- Experience in website management.
