Responsibilities:
- To oversee the functions of Sports and Recreational Courses development and Events management.
- To review and enhance a competitive Sports Coaching management system in order to provide the high-quality sports training courses.
- To formulate, implement, and review strategic plans to promote all sports training courses in order to maximize the revenue objectives.
- To seek out new events, competitions, and activities including identifying target events, negotiating contracts, coordinating logistics, and ensuring the successful execution of each events.
- To build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including event organizers, sport’s governing bodies, local authorities, community organizations and other relevant entities.
- To monitor the Sports Development Manager in overseeing the coordination and execution of sports programs, social events, and tournaments, with a focus on revenue generation and budget adherence, courses content and quality assurance.
- To develop and implement strategies to maximize participation and revenue from sports training courses, events and programs.
- To oversee the logistics for sports events, including scheduling, venue management, and resources allocation to ensure seamless execution.
- To monitor the financial performance of programs and events, preparing detailed reports on budget status, revenue forecasts, and expenditures.
- To collaborate with marketing teams to promote sports programs and events, enhancing visibility and driving attendance.
- To stay updated on industry trends to identify new revenue opportunities and innovative program offerings.
- To provide leadership and guidance to staff involved in program delivery, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and standards.
Requirements:
- Degree holder in Sports and recreation / Coaching / events management, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in program coordination, event management, or revenue management within a sports or events environment.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building effective relationships with internal teams and external partners.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience supervising and motivating teams.
- Knowledge of best practices in sports program management and event coordination.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
