Student-Athlete Learning Support and Admission (SALSA) Scheme

Duties

Reporting to the Associate Director (Physical Education), the appointee will be expected to:

  1. Coordinate and promote Student Athlete Admission in secondary schools, Hong Kong Sports Institute and National Sports Associations;
  2. Provide administrative and academic supports to SALSA students;
  3. Assist in the logistics and administrative work of the sports scholarship and funding;
  4. Assist in coordinating with academic and administrative units for the wellbeing of student-athletes on campus;
  5. Provide support on promotional designs, website development & maintenance, photo & video shooting and editing for the Scheme; and
  6. Perform any other duties as assigned.

The appointee will be required to work flexible hours on a need basis.

Requirements

  1. A Bachelor’s degree, preferably with tutoring experience in tertiary education;
  2. Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); and
  3. Being attentive to details, good problem-solving and supervisory skills, and demonstrated ability to work independently in a multi-tasking environment are required.
  4. High proficiency in computer operations, good knowledge of computer skills, and good communication skills are preferred.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
