The Office of Student Affairs (OSA) is responsible for the provision of desirable services for students of the University and enhancing their learning experience. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team dedicated to fostering whole-person development and a vibrant campus life for students.
Responsibilities
• Support the Physical Education (PE) team by assisting with publicity, administrative tasks, daily operations and activities under the University’s Integrated Learning Programme
• Assist in coordinating and organising sports events and physical wellness promotion activities
• Assist in managing sports teams, including handling team data, competition applications, and sports equipment inventory
• Represent the University as a convenor and member of relevant committees in the University Sports Federation of Hong Kong, China (USFHK) as necessary
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor(s)
• Work outside normal office hours, including weekends, as required
Requirements
• A recognised Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, Event Management or relevant disciplines
• At least one year’s post-qualification work experience, preferably with tertiary institutions or similar organisations
• A good command of written and verbal English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
• Strong sense of self-motivation, responsibility and teamwork relation
• Strong mastery of interpersonal, multi-tasking and communication skills
• A good knowledge of computer applications
Candidates with less/more experience will be considered for appointment at a relevant rank.
Salary and Fringe Benefits
The rank and commencing salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits, where applicable, include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, mandatory provident fund and gratuity.
