Sports Executive (Contract)

The Sports Association for the Physically Disabled of Hong Kong, China is a multi-sport national sports association with the vision of Enabling Hong Kong Para Athletes to Achieve Sporting Excellence. We are now inviting candidates with strong passion in Para sports development to apply for the post Sport Executive for the preparation of the 12th National Games for Persons with Disabilities and the 9th National Special Olympic Games. The employment period will be from the date of appointment until January 2026.
 

Major Responsibilities

  • Organize and execute of the sports competitions of the Games
  • Plan and draw up the logistics and operational plan for the Games
  • Coordinate and collaborate with relevant government departments and other organisations on preparation for the Games
  • Arrange tender and procurement, and monitor the performance of external service contractors 
  • Undertake other duties assigned by supervisor
     

Requirement
 

  • University degree, Sports/Sports Science/Physical Education/Recreation Management or related disciplines is an advantage
  • A minimum of 3 years’ working experience is preferred
  • Working experience in sports association is preferable
  • A team player with passion and willingness to learn new scope of knowledge
  • Able to work under pressure and strong forward planning skills
  • Good inter-personal and communication skills
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Strong passion in sports industry and knowledge and experience in Para sports will be a definite advantage

Benefits

Salary will depend on qualifications and related work experience.  Annual leave, Mandatory Provident Fund, and medical insurance will be provided.
