About Love 21:
Love 21 is a registered charity in Hong Kong empowering the Down syndrome, autistic, and neurodiverse community to reach their full potential through sports, nutrition and holistic support programmes. As of July 2024, we serve around 400+ members and their families, providing around 350 classes and activities per month (including different styles of dance, fitness, yoga etc.), as well as nutritional, counselling and holistic support.

Summary:
The Sports Coordinator will work in the Sports Programme team under the Sports Programme Manager to plan and deliver high quality sports programmes for Love 21 beneficiaries. This candidate will be

responsible for arranging the programme logistics of our sports programmes. Other duties will include exploring potential new opportunities and classes for Love 21 beneficiaries, as well as working with the Sports Programme team to measure the impact of our programmes.

Responsibilities:

• Organize, coordinate and participate in regular sport activities for the Love 21 community
• Liaise with coaches, volunteers, and the Love 21 community about class arrangements and changes
• Evaluate and provide regular reports on sport classes, including conducting surveys and interviews to obtain anecdotes
• Assist in the impact measurement and reporting of the sport programmes, assist in conducting surveys, before-and-after tests and more to demonstrate the impact of our programmes
• Assist with centre operations at Love 21 Space, including setting up venues for activities, receiving community members at reception, cleaning up the activities space and more.
• Provide clerical and administrative support to team.
• Responsible for graphic design including monthly schedules, posters, events materials, leaflets, banners, etc.

Requirements:

• Two years relevant working experience
• Empathetic towards members of the special needs community and their families
• Experience with special needs individuals preferred but not required
• Weekend and/or evening work required
• Proficiency in design software is a plus.
• Good command of both written and spoken English & Cantonese is required.

• Employment type: Full-time (annual contract subjected to renewal) Salary range: HKD21000-24000
