Regional Hub Manager

The Hong Kong, China Rugby (HKCR) is seeking a dedicated and professional Regional Hub Manager with expertise in community hub management and the delivery of sports programs for individuals of all ages. This role is essential for promoting inclusivity and fostering sustainable communities through sports engagement.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Program Development and Management: Design, implement, and oversee the regional hub sports programs that cater to diverse age groups, ensuring accessibility and inclusivity for all participants.
  • Community Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with district organizations, schools, and community groups to promote participation in sports and enhance community involvement.
  • Facilities Management: Management of community sports facilities, ensuring they are safe, accessible, and well-equipped for program delivery.
  • Membership Management: Develop and manage a membership system to track participation, renewals, and engagement, fostering a sense of community among members.
  • Resource Allocation: Effectively manage resources, including staff and facilities, to ensure the successful delivery of programs and initiatives.
  • Monitoring and Evaluation: Track program performance and participant feedback to assess impact and make necessary adjustments for continuous improvement.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and external partners to align community initiatives with the broader goals of HKCR and ensure cohesive program delivery.
  • Manage Deliverables: Oversee program deliverables to sponsors or founders, ensuring accountability and transparency.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on program outcomes and community engagement efforts for stakeholders and management.
  • Any other ad-hoc project or administrative duties as assigned by the Head of Department.

Your profile

  • University graduate
  • Relevant management and leadership experience in sports management / social service / facilities management for at least 5 years
  • Working experience with schools / NGOs is a definite advantage.
  • Creative and able to convert ideas to realities.
  • Shows strong organizational skills and leadership qualities.
  • Ability to work with, lead a team. 
  • Fluency in English and Cantonese (Mandarin is option) for both verbal and written content.
  • MS office, knowledge with analytics and reporting software and advantage
