Executive Assistant II (Half-time) in Sport, Exercise and Recreation Management in the College of Life Sciences and Technology

Duties: The appointee will provide support to programme administration of the sports programmes in the Subject Group. The scope of duties includes answering student enquiries, arranging course-related materials and equipment, liaison with academic staff and teachers and maintenance of student/staff records, filing and other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements: Candidate should possess a Higher Diploma or an Associate Degree, preferably a Bachelor’s degree. Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, good communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office and Chinese word processing, strong sense of responsibility, effective organisational skills and self-motivation are essential. The Candidate should also be detail-minded, able to work independently and to handle complex tasks efficiently. 

Terms of Appointment: Salary placement will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The contract will normally be for 2 years with the possibility of renewal subject to review. A contract-end gratuity (taxable) will be payable upon satisfactory completion of the contract.  Medical and dental benefits, annual leave and the use of sports and library facilities will be provided where applicable.  The School also provides staff development opportunities.
