Sports Programme Operation Executive/Officer

Founded in 2012, InspiringHK Sports Foundation (IHKSports) is a tax-exempt charity under section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance, with a vision of better youths through sports. We aim to provide equal learning opportunities and promote gender equality, social inclusion and healthy lifestyle. We equip youth - irrespective of background, gender and race - with sportsmanship qualities such as perseverance and teamwork, so they can better meet challenges in life.

InspiringHK Sports Foundation is seeking talented individuals as our Sports Programme Operation Executive/Officer. Our Executive is based in Hong Kong, works under the direction of the Senior Programme Managers, and collaborates with organisation’s stakeholders in leading our various programmes in serving our vision and missions.

Job Responsibilities and Duties
• Support the Senior Programme Managers on coach management, including but not limited to managing the communications and finance work with the 150+ entities of sports coaches;
• Assist the Senior Programme Managers in administering sports programme data collection and organisation. Data include class participation, attendance and activity sign up, impact measurement etc.;
• Manage insurance quotation and purchase for sports programmes, including but not limited to public liability and group personal accident insurance;
• Help the Senior Programme Managers to digitalise sports programme management, such as the use of SchoolTracs and other digital tools to monitor class situation;
• Organise the sports programme team to ensure the programme websites are well maintained;
• Work closely with the partnership management team and the marketing team to communicate programme output and outcomes to relevant stakeholders;
• Support the Senior Programme Managers and the wider team to manage and monitor the expenditure of the responsible programme, to ensure that it will achieve their objectives, meet our pledges, and be carried out within our scope and budget;
• Manage students and parents (participants), including but not limited to managing WhatsApp groups’ communications, discipline of participation, answering questions and coordinating their participation;
• Lead part-time staff/interns to support the programme delivery;
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
• A Degree holder in any discipline with at least 2 years’ experience in charity/ community services/sports management might be considered for the Officer role. Candidates with less experience/fresh graduates would be considered for the Executive role;
• Strong ability in Microsoft excel and tech savvy;
• Good command of written and spoken English and Cantonese;
• Demonstrate a strong passion in youth work/sports/volunteering/partnership management;
• A strong team player capable of working with different personalities from different functional backgrounds;
• Strong ability to complete multiple assignments concurrently whilst balancing competing priorities and meeting deadlines;
• Organised and detail-oriented with high integrity;
• Willing to occasionally travel to various districts in Hong Kong in weekday evenings and weekends, with transport subsidy and compensation leave;
• Proficiency in Microsoft office and AI/Photoshop skills is a plus;
• Knowledge of and passion for InspiringHK Sports Foundation and the charitable sector preferred.

On top of the statutory holidays, maternity leave and paternity leave, IHKSports offers 14 days of annual leave, health insurance and contribution to the MPF.
