The Cycling Association of Hong Kong, China Limited is organizing UCI Track World Cup – Hong Kong　China which will be held in April 2027 in the Hong Kong Velodrome. UCI (Union Cycliste Internationale) Track World Cup is one of the qualifying race for Track Cycling World Championships. Over 350 top riders from some 40 national and UCI teams will attend the event.

Duties

• To organize & prepare the major local held international sports event
• Prepare and submit plan, budgets, and reports as well as cash flow estimation
• Explore sources of funding and commercial sponsors for the event
• Coordinate and arrange the whole event process
• Conduct the tendering exercise for the services
• Coordinate with the International Federation, Government Departments and supporting organizations
• Manage the HKJC Track Cycling Community Engagement Campaign
• Other event related duties
• Successful applicant is required to work outdoor and during holidays.
• Make recommendation, provide professional advice and execute the event

Qualification

• Bachelor Degree holder with Sports / Recreation/ Event Management / Busniess Administration as one of the subjects studied is preferable
• Experience in management role in mega event and work with commercial sponsors
• Familiar with the Track Cycling
• Good interpersonal skill and communication skills
• Very proficient spoken and written English and Chinese (Good command in spoken Putonghua is an advantage).
• Good experience at public speaking in English and Chinese
• Able to handle projects/events independently with proficient event management skills
• Independent, willing to work under pressure, overtime and able to meet tight deadline
• Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel
• Demonstrate of strong leaderships skill
• Immediate available is highly preferable
• Salary: Negotiable
