Lecturer / Assistant Lecturer (Sports Science and Recreation Management)

The School of Continuing and Professional Studies (CUSCS), founded in 1965, is a self-financing extension unit of the University with its mission to provide quality lifelong education to community members of all ages.  The School offers a wide variety of full-time and part-time post-secondary, professional and continuing education programmes, general courses and corporate training courses in diversified disciplines.  CUSCS now invites applications for the post of Lecturer / Assistant Lecturer to provide support in teaching and programme quality assurance support to related Higher Diploma programmes and Diploma programmes.

Applicants should have (i) a Master’s degree in physical education, exercise science, sports management or related disciplines; (ii) at least 4 years’ post-Master teaching / professional experience at tertiary level; (iii) substantial experience in programme curriculum design, review and development; (iv) proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese; and (v) good connections with related industries and societies.  Applicants with less experience but have at least 2 years’ post-Master teaching experience may be considered for appointment at Assistant Lecturer rank.                                                                                                                              

Appointment will initially be made on a contract basis for up to two years (with contract-end gratuity for a two-year contract) starting from late August 2026, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
