The “Retired Athletes Transformation Programme”, organised by Home Affairs Bureau and administrated by HKACEP, aims to facilitate retired athletes’ career development by providing them a platform to earn work experience, supplemented with on-job training and education subsidies for their academic enhancement. Job Duties

  • Responsible for squad training, local and overseas competition;
  • Undertake administrative and clerical duties;
  • Provide secretarial support;
  • Undertake any other ad-hoc projects or assignments as instructed by the Executive Committee and Sports Executive; and
  • Outdoor work, overtime and work on holidays are sometimes required.

 

Monthly Salary

HK$17,000 - 24,200 (Subject to years of training and working experience)

 

Fringe Benefits

  • Annual leave of 12 days

 

Number of working days per week

  •  5 Days

 

Number of working hours per day

  • 9 Hours

  

Retired athletes wish to enroll in the programme have to fulfill ALL the following eligibility criteria

  • Must be retired athletes;
  • Have retired for no more than six years by the time of making first application under the Programme*;
  • Have attained secondary education or above;
  • Have received at least two years of training for senior athletes*or full-time professional athlete^; and
  • Have represented Hong Kong at least once in an international competition (including the National Games or the National Championships)*

*A confirmation signed by the relevant national sports association (NSA) is required.

^Having signed professional athlete contract with recognised sports organisations under respective NSAs.
