Cricket aims to be the fastest growing team sport in Hong Kong. As the National Sport Association for cricket in Hong Kong, Cricket Hong Kong (CHK) is devoted to the betterment of our community by introducing cricket to all levels of society and providing opportunities for all to benefit from it.

Our programs are based on community engagement and takes inspiration from previous success work in Hong Kong. We believe everyone should start their experience of cricket from fun-social factor and move to develop life skills through deeper enjoyment through cricket skills.

We are now looking for suitable candidate for the position of Cricket Development Officer to help deliver programs with the objective to broaden the base of people playing cricket in the local communities and schools across all Hong Kong. If you think you have what it takes, come and join us!

Cricket Development Officer (Job Ref: CHK-CDO)

Job Descriptions 

  • To assist Cricket Development Manager in CHK’s development project including community and school projects;
  • To assist in planning and implementation of local community programs through cricket demonstrations and training sessions;
  • To undertake administrative duties in arranging classes, bookings and tournaments;
  • To assist in coordination of school and junior competition;
  • To coordinate with other organizations and prepare relevant reporting.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Preferably a Diploma from a registered post-secondary college/an accredited Associate Degree from a tertiary institution/a Higher Diploma or Institute of Vocational Education or equivalent (Fresh Graduates are welcomed);
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Energetic and passion for sports promotion in Hong Kong;
  • Cricket background is ideal but not a must (we are willing train the right candidate);
  • Experience event management will be an asset;
  • Proficient in both English and Chinese;
  • Able to work outside normal office hours and weekends;
  • Immediate availability preferred.
